The way I understand the 10-22kmods are that they alter the icp sensor into commanding more hpo. Also, the way I read about the ez module is that must be what it does. Since it is a 4 position module it is like inserting different resistors. Am I correct or do you guys think this module does something else.

The EZ is the ultimate performance upgrade for the driver that wants added towing power, quick and easy installation, improved fuel economy, and doesn't want to spend a lot of money.

The EZ offers a quick 10 minute installation that requires no expensive mechanic labor, no drilling, and no computer downloading. Simply plug the Edge EZ into stock connections and you're ready to go.

The EZ provides real power - you can switch between 4 power levels to add up to 60 HP and 100 ft lbs of torque. The Edge EZ carefully monitors timing and fueling parameters to maximize power, torque, and driveability. The EZ safely provides power to help eliminate downshifting.

The EZ is also tuned with a special fuel economy level* that improves the atomization of fuel, which in turn allows Edge to add power, while at the same time delivering between a 5-10% improvement in MPG when driving in level one. Add to that the EZ's price point and you have the ultimate value on the performance market today.

*Increase in fuel efficiency varies based on driving style.
Edge recommends the use of gauges when using any performance upgrade.

Yeah, pretty much what it is ... in a fancy box (JMHO). I would put the money towards a multi-position chip from Tony Wildman or DP Tuner. Cheers!

I run an edge ez on my truck its good if you just want a little more performance but I have a buddy with a 1997 regular cab f250 with a 10 k mod and I would recommend the Edge

i raced one of my buddies about 2 months ago when i was using the 22k inline mod and a 5.6k resistor jammed in the plug like the regular 10k mod. my buddy has a '97 4 door long bed 4x4 auto with an edge ez. he got me off the line about 1/2 a truck length because of his auto, but once i got mine to 4th gear i slowly got past him. i would get a DP-Tuner instead of the edge ez anyday. after that race we did a 15.6k inline mod on his truck and took off the ez and decided to put the ez back on it. it ran better with the ez. mine really smokes his now with the evolution though. i think his truck is just way to heavy.
