Edge just died n HELP!!!

Edge is horrible

With all the problems with edge I think everyone shoud buy an SCT I havent had a single problem with it. Its cheaper also and produces way more power. I ran an evolution for about a month and hated it it wasn't what i wanted and I sold it and bought an SCT and it makes my truck run so much better now. Just my opinion

EDGE SUCKS!!!!!!

This my third edge platinum and it still does not work. I would not recommend this product to anyone!!!!!!Actually they just sent me a brand new unit. Guess what it works BUT my speedo, air conditioning and periodically my reverse does not work. Piece of crap!!!!!!! Now I have to send it back for the 4th time. 4 modules none of them work

. I found out that there is some glitches with this module . I have to send it back and they will either reprogram it or replace it. Thought others might want to know

not suprised, my last 5 posts have all been about how unreliable edge products are , i almost laughed when i just read your post, not funny, but it's really starting to show a pattern.
edge is crap....
i believe "crapped out" was my exact wording also

i haven't had any problems with mine....but i am looking for more power and want to know more about sct....where i can get one...what kinda price am i looking at....does it come with a egt probe(or do i need gauges)....who can custom tune them the best...etc....thanx

you will need to run gauges, but you can use the thermocouple from your edge to a pyrometer.. or you can use your edge as your gauges, and leave it on level 0, or even stack it along with the sct . which i dont recomend. i would sell the edge on ebay, get the sct and a nice set of gauges.. there are many styles to choose from, but honestly i went with the ISSPRO, or DIPRICOL even makes some that look factory, so they look almost like they were put in by ford, which makes for a very clean install.

i would go to elite-diesel.com and look up the sct on their website, if will give you a bunch of info on what can be done with it, but i purchased mine elsewhere because elite is way too pricey...

if you want to send me a PM i'll tell you where you can order it, and they have tunes that have put 441 hp down without doing all the mods that i have done.. mine is good for over 500HP on the nasty nasty setting, but it's not very driveable around town, on the street tune i'm just shy of 500HP.. mostly because my nasty nasty tune keeps the converter locked all the time which is a ***** to drive on the street.

It will be awhile before i can really get into all of that....i would like to go with the whole set up....injectors..tranny...big HP tunes....but it would be a waste to get one without the others at this point...specially since im trying to get through college....and really don't have the money or time to worry about it.....am starting to spread the word about selling my edge.....if i can get it sold for a good price then im going to slowly work into turning my truck into a 500+ truck! thanks for the info and opinion
