I got my truck a few months back. I unplugged the ebpv valve.
I got codes p0470 p0475, i guess normal with it unplugged.
My question is though, how do i know if its open all the way and allowing flow? If it was not, what type of noise would it make? With the wires unplugged how do i know its(valve) is in the right position now?
I went to plug it back in tonite and noticed the 2 wires that go to it have no insulation on them they were bare. I found good wire about 1 inch from the loom with all the rest. I cut and capped them there, individually.
I have been searching for this growling type noise and was wondering if this could have anything to do with it.
I know its ok to have this unplugged but how do i know its not stuck half way or something?
thx
important, if its stuck what type of noise?
