Well, I finally got the truck fixed. Man, I didn't realize how much I would miss driving it. The hub assemblies I got off of ebay for $111 ended up being National. I took them to the local Schucks and I was told that they are a very good brand. The replacement went rather well. I was a little concerned with how easy the axle splines went into the side gears. It was hard for me to believe the axle was installed properly. Is this normal?

It`s fairely easy , I did one at the Fort Wayne, In. rest stop at 9:00 PM. I got my replacement at NAPA for about $460. Don`t like working on my truck while out on the road. T.Tolle:rant

I have late 99 bearings & early 99 rotors. I just put spacers where the caliper bolts on. There is about 3/16 " differance.
