has anyone installed the dynatrac pro steer ball joints? installing them on my 05 250 and after much struggling still cant geet the balljoints to seat all the way in so the seals are touching like they should be !!!

instructions say to hold the camber bushing up with a prybar while snugging the top, then tighten the bottom to 45 ftlbs and pull out the pry bar then finish tightening the top and torque the bottom.

i have tried this several times to no avail!! tried not holding it up tried beating the s##t out of the knuckle to get it to seat still no go

considering now going to get the damn ford ones and send these expensive ba###rds back!!!

If you are going to replace them, try Napa Auto Parts for Moog Ball Joints. They are good.

well i ripped out the dynatrac no fitting garbage and went to ford and got a set, which fit in like they were made to !!!!!!!!!

anyone know where to get the proper driver to install the vaccuum seal without damaging it?

i got it in with no visible damage but now my vaccuum 4x4 does not work, and if i engage it at highway speed the left side which i didnt touch grinds like the spline is slipping in the hub, or the hub is half engaging and crunching itself. 4x4 does work if i turn the hubs, so i am assuming i damaged the seal during install.
