What is the difference between a 2005 F350 dual rear wheel and a 2005 F350single rear wheel, both diesel, both 4x4? If you add a dually conversion kit, what will change?

Chances are the srw has 3.73's in the pumpkin and the drw should have 4.10's or even 4.30's. If you go for a dually conversion you'll be able to tow more, but unless you tow alot I don't see where its worth it. You'll wind up with a 3.73 dually. Which ain't a bad thing, GM and Dodge offer 3.73 dually's. All depends on what you want and how much $ you have to throw at the project.

If you dont need the DRW then i would say stick with the SRW. I went from a 2003 CC DRW 4x2 to a 2008 CC SRW SB 4x4, its easier to park, better of fuel milage, etc. Just my opinion though.

I agree. I don't tow as much as I used to, next truck will be srw. Heck, now that my daughters driving, I may go for a super-cab with an 8 foot bed.
