Glad to hear everyone is ok especially your driver.

I was expecting far more damage to the trailer unless it's just not obvious in the pics other than some scuffed paint it looks like there was no damage.

Personally I think the insurance company needs to repaint the entire trailer.

The bottom rail is pushed in ever so slightly.

Still need to check and make sure the axles are aligned properly after a lick like that.

I don't think it will require the bottom rail to be replaced, just maybe beefed up alittle.

I know it sounds harsh, but I have zero sympathy for people who so callously put others in danger.

I told Tommy that it just maybe a blessing my Pete took the lick where it did.

A few seconds sooner and it could have nailed the truck, in the fuel tank and really caused some damage..........

OR......

a few seconds later, it could have nailed the car behind Tommy and killed someone.

I am glad to hear all is well with your driver. On the positive side, you are right about your truck possibly saving some mom and child in a small car. Trailers are easier to repair than people.

Good to hear your driver is OK.

Too bad the drunk didn't end up in intensive care hooked up to I.V.'s and a catheter , it'd give him more "quaility time" to think about what he did than one night in jail would.

I know it sounds harsh, but I have zero sympathy for people who so callously put others in danger.

DITTO!!!!!!!........it is amazing sometimes how a drunk driver will walk away from a crash.........:dunno
