Seismic, your aren't running a tuner are you? I know of two trucks locally that have had tuners on them and the turbo charger grenaded taking out the motor. It's a problem with the shaft on the early 2011 production turbos and the tuner stresses it to the point of failure.

I think you guys are missing my point. All of your ideas are good but, we are talking about a truck that is 4 months old with 5k miles on it. It has been back to the dealer for 5 weeks out of the 4 months. It goes back in Tues. for another road force balance.

I hear ya.

I threw my .02 in here.. but you are correct. A 3.5 month old truck shouldn't have ISSUES.

Hope FOMOCO figures it out.

I have to ask
have you verified the techs have actually re-torqued ALL the drive line related bolts, this includes u-bolts and the like. center carrier assembly...
i bet they have not.
I remembered my 92 250 4x4 had u bolts on the driver side less than adequate tightness

not hanging an air impact on em, but watch them retorque the the bolts.

I would check your wheels at this point, I know up to 07 all the wheels were hub centric meaning the hub centers the wheel on the spindle. The 08 and newer have gone to a lug centric type wheel meaning it uses the lug nuts to center the wheel on the spindle. If the guy putting the wheels back on the truck just jams the lug nuts back on with an impact with out centering the wheel first it will cause the problem you are describing. As far as the axle wrap is concerned there is only one way to fix it and that is put ladder bars on the truck to keep the axle in place during acceleration. I have the same problem with my truck when I have the big tune in it if I get on it hard and you would swear you just ripped the rear end out of the truck if you get on it to hard.

Well they road force balanced the tires the way the Ford engineer told them too. Replaced the rear driveshaft with updated one and neutralized the body mounts. After all that the service manager told me to either call Ford or call a lawyer.

I have a 2012 F-450 DRWLB with 1500 miles and the truck bounces pretty good going down the road at 70mph. At 65 it's tolerable. I have noticed if your driving on concrete it's worse than asphalt. I'm running 75psi in the front and 60psi in the rear. Those are the pressures listed on the tire placard on the door jam. Hooked up to our 41' fifth wheel it rides real well. What a work horse.
