Question driving me nuts

i have a horable rattling clunking noise coming from front end ive checked everything and most parts are new does anyone else have this issue and what the hell is makin all the noise

can we get a more descriptive analysis of what is going on?
what HAVE you checked?

ive checked and replaced springs,shocks <bilsteins>, balljoints,control arm bushings,steering stabilizer, and have gone over everything else and cant figure it out

i read your 'rattle' post....

my vote is (was) your stabilizer links bushings and the bar bushings.....

a constant problem (issue) w/ the early trucks. mine included.. got new ones and no more problem

this will (should) solve your problem.... use plenty of the 'lube' provided

I have talked to oriellys and Ford and they both say the only option is to replace the entire link (comes with new bushings). Where did you buy the replacement bushing kit?

oriellys has no clue and ford is just trying to sell you the whole link....

i got mine ordered from autozone....it took 24 hours and parts where in...
you will 'EXACTLY' need to know the size of your track bar...it does matter as the bushings come in different sizes..i would really have to do some searching in order to find the receipt....if you do some searching on here you should find the number - if not let em know

you will need to have the link bushings pressed out and pressed in - which i did have ford do...cost me $75

Summit carries the whole bushing set from energy suspension, includes both bar mount bushings and the end link bushing set. (looks just like red's)

When my hubs are locked And I make a sharp turn , I'll get minimal swashbuckling up front from the CVJ normal wear I believe
