And how'bout the Arm Rests JL... thats what I really need, mine are just plain Worn down to: No Nap left.. from me resting/leaning on'm for 10 years.

My seat foam is in good shape, still has it's shape and support :dunno

And speaking of arm rests.... Mine got bent back somehow:innocent so I had to force it back to where its suppose to be. And ever since then it got prone to getting bent back untill it finally broke. Is has some in-and-out slack. If I slide it in....it raises up and down like it should. But it wont stay in for nothing. Someone told me it was a c-clip that broke:dunno I've been thinking about just JB welding it.

If you have bench seats, what could make it NOT work??? If you have individual seats for the driver and passenger, then I cam see it not working.

so as in another thread on here, I found you can pull the skin off the arm rests and switch them. I did that and it is like I got a free arm rest.

My point is can you remove the seat (bottom) skin and switch it with the passenger as well?????? because no mater the work Id do it. The drivers seat has a terrable tear in it and I only fear it will get worse, I mean the whole bottom has cracks like crazy and the pass is like the day it came out of the factory!!

seat covers are for old trucks, mines only 10 years old:rolleyes:

well thats what i thought too, but think about the holes that are drilled in the sides of the covers for the lumbar and tilt. if you take the driver's side and move it to the passenger, and vice versa, youd have to then have those holes and controls on the inside of each seat instead of the outside, facing the door.

Now for the update...i tried doing just the cover switching, and the first part to it all is getting the trim removed on the outer part. youve got a bracket in the front of the seat, and the back...removing those...no biggie. Now, trying to remove the lumbar knob to then slide that whole piece of plastic off...so far, IMPOSSIBLE. I looked on that knob for a screw, and found nothing. I tried pullng on that knob likd HELL..nothing.

How does that knob/dial come off???

well it's the driver's side...which is electric, so im still stuck.

i've tried pulling on mine like hell and it just dont wanna come off. i havent the slightest clue. I'm thinking about trying to do it on the passenger side first, that way if i break it, i wont be sol until i order a new part.
