Driver's Door Lock Button

The driver's door lock button is sticking, even after spraying WD-40 at the button, and also on the latch mechanism. When I hit the key fob to lock it, the other three doors lock okay, but the driver's door does not lock (most of the time). I have learned to press down the button before locking the other doors. Also, when it's locked, I have to manually unlock it with the key. Does anyone have any suggestions as to fixing this, hopefully without pulling the door panel.

Wayne, I believe that your lock control module has malfuctioned. Sorry that door panel has to come off.

OK, I was afraid of that. Right now, there are bigger items (tires) that need attention.
