Dpf removal from ford

I'd say your Buddy is full of Sh!t, not only is a DPF a FEDERALLY Required Emissions device, Ford would Void the warranty's of all those trucks.

Not exactly. The DPF is only required to meet 2010 emissions regulations, however it's possible that emissions regs for '07 to '10 could only be met using a DPF or DOC. IIRC the DPF was an optional emissions system (at least ofr Dodge).

BUT, I think there is a grey area in that if the truck came form the factory with it on there then it has to stay on there (assuming the inspection station actually looks or has equipment to test functionality.)

I believe it is a cab ,,chassis ,,and dependent on service intent option
