I'm really looking at doing it too. What kind of mileage improvements have been seen with the DPF delete and a tuner city and hwy?

The programer i went with is the H&S Mini Maxx.
With the stock exhaust and DPF still in place and the stock air box, I am running it most of the time in the "Mild" setting and seeing 2 to 2-1/2 mpg better.

Smoker1, did you have to drill your exhaust manifold for a EGT probe?

No I didn't, the Mini Maxx reads the EGT's from my factory computer and displays them on the screen.

Are you using custom or canned tunes?

I'm not sure what either of those are, I am just using what was in it when I bought the programmer.
I think now you have taught me that there is more I need to learn about this thing!

"Canned" tunes are the tunes that come preloaded on the tuner from the manufacturer. "Custom" tunes you would get from a company like KEM or Innovative Diesel.

Oh, then yes I am just using canned tunes.

I think now I will try to get some custom ones now that I know they exist!
