so ive had my chip in for a couple weeks now and at first when i put it in if i hit a decent bump the truck would just shut off,because the chip must have been gettin bumped around.so i tightened pcm bolts tighter and no more problem for like two weeks.so today on my way home im pulling out of a shell station,actually waiting to pull out,then the truck hiccups,then about 10seconds later it dies,cel light comes on.just so happens to be an outside dining restaurant right next to the place,so ofcourse everyone is lookin.so after 2 cranks it starts,i immediatly back up into the shell parking lot and im thinking ,man im glad i bought a spare cps,the crazy thing is that i just replaced it like 2 months ago.so i put it in and it starts up just like normal,so i after about 15 miles i pulling into another gas station(lookin for cheapest fuel on the way home)as im pulling in it hiccups again.i pull up to the pump shut her down anf fuel up.start up and i took the back roads headin home,it dies about a 1/4 mile down the road,by this time im fed up with these cheap cps from discount auto parts stores.so i try a few times and nothin,then i get out unplug the cps,then plug it back in,she fires right up,start driving and i made 1/2 mile to walmart parkin lot.so i call my dad up and he brings his scanner and it shows these codes PO603 which means internal control module KAM error on bank 2 the scanner said.the next was a code that didnt have a decription,then i dont recall exact code,but the scanner said power to the idm was interupted.so what i did was just pull the chip.driven over 30 miles tonight and no problem yet.anyone have a clue?
If the chip was burnt or reburned for your chip there must be an issue inside the chip. If you plug it up problem exists, unplug problem gone gotta be the chip or crummy connection
