a banks owner) i find it hard to believe that you'd recommed their products !

I never had the first problem with the 6gun. Banks tuners aren't in the same performance arena as SCT and others.

The 6 gun isnt worthy enought to lick an SCT's data cord.

The Bullet is just a watered down tuner, now I have never used it, but it only gives you 60hp max.

When I started using the SCT (and they state that you may need to do head studs with their tuners) is when my puking problems started.

I am not really recommending them, just putting it out there for melmount to see.

And for the record, the engine itself has only been apart once, and that was for head studs.

There are many Ford dealers who actually sell tuners, and I assure you, FoMoCo knows it! Most of these denials are dealer decisions, not manufacturer decisions. I question whether or not they can actually deny you the warranty.

Don't forget about TS...who's a site sponsor. They offer the MP-8 module which is an ICP mod or the 5x Downloader. You get 50, 75, 100, 135, and 150hp levels. I've sold a couple of these where I work and the owners really like them, too bad the new flash from Ford has the 5X on backorder right now.

As for the warranty.... I've seen a bone stock 6.0 that lifted the heads. Good luck if you do and Ford sends out a field engineer, it's rumored at the dealers here that more of them are sent out since the all the lawsuits between Navistar and Ford over the 6.0 warranty payments happened.
