Yeah.....I "undid" this mod. Didn't like it. I would rather put up with a little noise than slamming my doors. Like platinum01, slamming my doors drives me completely insane!!!! :rant

Plus...I got tired of telling people that the door wasn't shut and then having them slam it. I just got plain tired of it.

Glad it is working for others though!!!

I didn't have to use the first thing to get the tubing to slide thru (as any slippery stuff)

Just used an electrician's fish tape, a 9yo boy and a 7yo girl to help me do it.

MODS are the best when family can join in the fun. :)

it does drive me a little nutz...and when you consider all the EXTRA
stuff i have in my doors (speakers & cross overs) ive never had
ANYTHING come loose.

also if you (as the driver) make sure your the last to door closed or
you crack a window then the effort required to close the door is
reduced.

:dunno On an X cab ? I stuffed a piece of folded backer rod into the latch works of the D/side swing out window, it won't let it close, but won't let it open all the way either. Doesn't leak, doesn't rattle and doesn't howl. Releases the pressure though :dunno

The door seal mod tubing has been on for awhile now and has taken the shape of the jambs. We close the doors with a Purpose.. but don't Slam them.

Works well... Glad I did it ;tu;tu
