Door Seals, again...

I had the same problem with the drivers door on my CC.

I tried this one day a few weeks ago, with limited success...seems the wire I tried was wrong and wanted to poke thru the turns in the weather stripping.

Any suggestions on the best wire to use. I even used some dishwashing soap to help lube it to slide around the corners but finally gave up.

Still got the backer - rod....any ideas on wire?

The old X at 167,000 miles is starting to let in a little too much road noise now.

Can someone post a picture of what this entails. I just am not visioning this. I get really tired of my crew cab door squeeking when it gets cold.
