That is horrible. Nothing much to say don't have kids yet but even now I make sure I stay away from doing stupid things. Not sliding down rubber hand rails. Do you know how hard it is to slide down a piece of thick rubber that is not moving. Bet he tried to jump up on the rail with some speed and stuck but with forward and to the side momentum that was it.

I just returned from DC and got the chance to spend several days riding the Metro..... wow are those looooooooooong escalators down into the tunnels.
