barbed wire cost????? LOL

it will be cheaper than the the A/C condensor, air to air and radiator.

the fuel tank is a 70 fuel/50 hydraulic fluid split tank, your lookin at around 1500.00 to 1800.00 for the tank alone.

the engine has an oil leak at the front of the engine, we have been puttin it off, so it will get fixed too while we are making the other repairs caused by today's events.

Anything that can be fixed by money is not a problem. Anything where no one gets hurt is not a problem. Glad all turned out well for them.

you got that right scooter.

i hate to think of what the ride would have been like for my nephew if he had been in that truck. that would have been hard for my Dad to live with.

I know for a fact that the Good Lord was watching over them.

I am also thankful that no cars were on the road at that section, that could have really been bad too.

I believe the divine providence of God was at work today.

thanks for all the nice and encouraging words everybody.

Stephen, a year from now you'll be saying "Do you remember when my dumbarse Dad forgot to set the e-brake? That cost me a buttload of truck repair plus a forty-nine dollar spool of barb wire!"

he said the last time he remembed that he forgot to do that and the truck got away, was 1960 something. it was just a momentary lapse of concentration.

shoot, we all do it, i have two tailgate's to show for mine.

Can you REALLY remember something that you forgot?:sly Don't worry, I did it with my first truck. Got in and took it out of gear to start it but right before I turned the key I remembered I forgot something. I jumped right out and went for the door. It wasn't until I was putting the key in the front door that I heard the sound of a truck hopping up a curb. I ran back around as my truck was rolling out of the neighbors yard and back into the street. Luckily, the car that was almost always parked there wasn't there at the time.
