Question Does the '05 and newer suspension ride much softer???

I'm new to the forum, and as I stated in an earlier post, I'm thinking of trading my 2001 v10 Superduty for a diesel. My '01 does have a small lift on it and some 35's, but it rides like a tank. I was wondering if the new coil over suspensions introduced in '05 ride much softer compared to the leaf springs?

x2... they definitely do.. i had an 03 and now and 05.. much better ride.. even with the 35s im running now

My 06 rides better that my 01 but I did go from a regular cab to a crew cab. The turning radius is better too.

yeah it definitely takes a lot less area to turn my 05 than it takes the 2k and thats def a plus

Leaf over coil...

I would take leaf springs over a coil springed truck anyday, they ride to ruff and have the whole manic wobble over bumps, plus the 6.0l is lighter than the 7.3 which helps, no! My 01 with the equipment trailer rides like a town car.
