Question Does factory PCM restrict power for first 500 miles

Wondering about this? Truck feels like a dog. I have 24 miles on my new 2009 F250 6.4, CC, 4X4. My old 2006 6.0 felt better than this new one. Thanks.

I don't know about the PCM cutting power, what I have noticed about mine is that even though it says to not allow it to warm up, it is kinda sluggish until it gets to operating temp. Mine has the 3.55 gears, once it is warm it is a screamin demon.

Thanks. Btw I have a few mods already. Spartan tuner (275hp) with the 210hp tune in it currently, EGR delete, DPF & Cat delete, AFE CAI W/Torque Tube, 4" exhaust.
