I've seen them advertised with air suspension. I've heard they get really good mileage, but like other diesels, don't know if the extra cost of the engine is worth it. I don't seem to see as many new Power Strokes as I used to, probably because of the $8000+ price tag of the PSD. It is rumored that Ford is working on a diesel F-150 but no telling what the engine will cost. In order to be better than the EcoBoost engines, it should get at least 30 mpg highway. Just my thoughts.

If it wasn't for the long distance pulls we make with our fifth wheel - Oklahoma to Colorado, or Montana, or Wyoming, ect I wouldn't buy the diesel engines. For the short distance, in and out farm/ranch work the gas engines work great but I always end up going diesel for the previous reasons.

they're putting the same engine in the ProMaster vans.. 17,500 mile service cycle.. that's a LONG time to not be under a hood checking levels..

IMO the price isn't worth it. From what I've seen the hauling specs are the same as a gas engine.

When the Nissan Titan diesel came out I was looking it up. The towing specs were the same as my grandparents 2016 F150 with the 5.0. I couldn't see paying for the Titan unless you really want to say you own a diesel.

I was at a show this past Sunday and there was a new F350 there. It was a fully loaded FX4. It even had the goose neck hitch. For the bargain price of $75,000. Ouch.

In many areas, diesel is now about the same price as gasoline. I still don't know if the extra cost of the diesel is worth the prices. Of course we'll have to see how the new 2018 F-150 diesel will cost and the mileage ratings.
