I have been giving some thought to the high pressure oil pump and i was thinking that if you can put the internals out a IH 530 injector in a powerstroke body then the oil pump for the 530 should work and move more oil given that it will bolt up , When i look at them bolted to a engine the sure look like they will. I am sure there is someone with some insight

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the 466 and 530 pumps rotate the opposite direction than ours. I believe thats what BTS system is made from. I have seen a BTS system on a truck in CO(back in '05 before the big oil craze) and it's a stacked setup, hence the need for the top pump to rotate the opposite direction.

I have no idea what the direction of original 530 pump rotation would mean if you were trying to swap guts.
