DIY illuminated door sill

Check out the link below and tell me what ya'll think. stylintrucks.com is wanting $200 for ONE of these. Im trying to DIY-it. I've seen other forums like for BMW and Audi doing this project.

I have an idea, the 2010's have the superduty name on the sills already.. What if you take and cut out the letters and install a piece of plexiglass with a few LEDs in it? I guess that is one quick thought without putting too much thought into it. Those that you have posted are from RECON arent they? I was looking for a set of them for my 06 but never did buy them. Pretty cool sill I think

Thanks I'll have to check them out. I wanted to do this because I think the price of the ones by RECON are outrageous.
