I too see exhaust temps around 400-650 in normal trafic, if I do some hard driving it will quickly and easily break 1000 degrees , I have done some comparison between my edge display temp and one of those non contact temp sensore and found them to be within a few degrees, about 20 degree difference. up until rercently the vehicle speed displayed by the edge monitor and dash speedo were the same , now they differ about 5 mph for some reason , and the tachs read same . I do not fiddle with the adjusments on my edge as much as I would like , but I definetly like it.
