Saw it. :sweet Yup, prairie grass seems like a winner in ethanol production. No watering or fertilizing and it's a natural perennial which can be harvested easily. But Brazil's ethanol production using sugar beets is far more efficient than using corn in the U.S. . Too bad there is a 100% tariff on Brazilian ethanol, government subsidies for domestic ethanol production and a zero tariff on imported oil. This administration still doesn't get the big picture...:sorry

i was amazed at the huge tariff on brazilian ethanol. makes so much sense doesnt it:dunno

seems we need to stsrt hollering some more about big oil...
brazil said it was eager to ship ethanol to the US, but now its going to china, real nice. the US just keeps getting farther behind in the smart department

What's the name of the show? I know I've missed it, but I can check Tivo to see when it will be repeated.

and then ask yourself
why is there a 100% tariff on brazilian ethanol and zero tariff on mid east oil????
sit down
its because making ethanol from corn is harder than making it with beets and costs more, so to keep farmers employed the tariffs are levied to ensure corn ethanol is priced competiviely with beet ethanol
what a bunch of horse droppings,
I support american farmers, but dont beets grow here to???
