Well I traded my v-10 about 3 months ago and got this 06 6.0 f-350 for pulling my 5er, the 6.0 pulls better on the steep grades but to be honest I miss my v-10. It cost less to purchase and operate, just depends on how much your gonna pull. The 14 qt oil changes, expensive fuel filters and diesel clean in most every tank is something to think about, not counting on how sensitive the 6.0's are, good luck my friend.

Never owned a gasser. Opened up the hood on one, saw all those wires to something called spark plugs, closed it right up again, lifted my leg and broke wind on it.

Diesels inspire awe in the eyes of young and old. Real men don't want spark plugs, just sayin.....:D

Besides I always enjoy telling folks I drive a compression ignited internal combusion engine,....... goes right over the heads of most.

100,000 mile tune-up on the gassers V10 cost about $1,000.00 at the Dealer and that should be the place you take it!! Unless nothing is wrong it's not likely though.

personally i think the v10 will scare folks when its time to sell.

i believe the diesels have higher demand/desire & better
resale value...better mileage over all and better towing capablity.
