I wouldn't buy that or anything else Chrysler or GM make no matter how cool it would be. Those two companies should no longer exist. As far as I'm concerned they don't exist! Be a real American and only buy Ford!;tu

they used a Benz diesel in the Liberty a few yeas ago..

they used a Perkins diesel in the Cherokee in the '80's (talk about a gutless MUTT!)

folks returned in oct from a 4 year stint in the land of OZ, they had a NEW oil burner jeep. it had a MB engine and only left em stranded once in the desert.....radiator hose poppppped

Actually the diesel in the Liberty was a 4-cylinder Italian motor. Mercedes-Benz had nothing to do with that engine.
