I know two things for a fact.

Here, diesel is 53¢ a gallon more than gas.

Those bell ringers get PO'd if you ask em to change a five for the parking meter.

Not good.

Ok... I should not have written what I did. Chalk it up to old age, and not enough patience with people that are wrong. Everyone has an opinion, right or wrong. In this case he is wrong, but he should be allowed to be wrong and not be blasted.
The 5er that I am looking at is around $30,000 and I have a lot of toys, but that still does not mean that you should be happy about being ripped off. Diesel should not cost more that gasoline, when it costs less to make. If diesel goes up to $5.00 per gallon, I will still pay for it, but not be happy about it.
95_stroker, I have socks older than you.... What does that mean....

sooooo we should all lighten up....

1. Diesel costs less to produce than gasoline.

Maybe back when diesel was just a byproduct of refining gasoline, but now with sulfur removal...costs have gone up. How much I don't know. It also doesn't help that all the stuff made in China was produced under lights powered by diesel burning power plants.

2. Oil companies know that we have more expensive trucks than gas rigs, so therefore they want to charge us more per gallon on fuel that costs them less to make. "higher profits" at our expense. What a rip off. Of course our government does not say a word, because they get the taxes on the fuel. We need to start a email campaign. Did anyone notice how fuel prices came down before the elections, and then went up after the elections, all for no apparent reason? Did anyone in our government ask why?

Guess people need to change their voting habits. Or just start voting period!

I have first hand knowledge of natural gas production and know that our checks don't see anywhere near what it goes for on the markets, nor the drastic rises in prices, and it's coming out of my family's ground. I also don't see how the oil companies can set record breaking profits for the last year and no one say "something ain't right", yes I know...it's all going back in to new exploration and new refineries. Now back to looking for a new biodiesel supplier.:D
