Drove to work, no problems at all. Ran great. got off the freeway, and was sittting in some traffic at a u turn, heater on, radio going and all of a sudden i feel the truck shake. Look down and the rpm gauge is sitting at 0, battery light is on and airbag light is on.

It's like someone just came and turned it off.

Sure sounds like a cps...but ive already had mine replaced under the recall, and then actually replaced it again with borg warner black one. Is it still possible that they go bad?

It could be some trash clogging fuel filter or fuel pick up. Mine did the same thing after some crappy fuel.

My 2001 took a very similar fit when the injector driver module went out. Took forever to track it down. The IDM RARELY ever sets a code for future reference. When I had the CPS problem it would leave a temporary loss of signal code. Just something to check.
