lug nuts.
lost the passenger tire on the trailer w/ the cat in it today. -mad -mad all 8 lugs snapped right off in the drum. three holes in the rim were reamed out pretty good. saw the tire hit a farmers access road and it took a hell of a bounce and almost hit the wires, finally came to rest about 200 yards into a farmers bean field. for 12 years i have never checked my lug nuts. guess what i will be doing from now on...

Luckily no one was injured! I must admit that I don't check mine as much as I should.

that's what you call a bad day. too bad i don't have a picture phone. a 6700# kitty cat in the trailer - it could have been worse. i heard the sound of a flat tire just before she let go, doing about 60 mph.
from now on, i will always check my nuts...

wow that sucks, we were just talking about that at work. one of my co-workers was going down the turnpike and saw a big rig tire rolling past him turned around saw the fear in the drivers eyes and punched the gass.... he said he didnt look back but heard about it on the radio...
