determining which wheel bearing?

How would you go about determining which wheel bearing is making the growling noise when going down the road?:dunno:dunno
also the 4 studs that hold it to the hub? Iassume my old ones wilkl not be easily removed? What do you call these? i am trying to locate 4 of them too.

easiest way is to jack up the front end and spin each wheel individually.. you'll feel the vibrations from the bad one in the knuckle..

yes, get new mounting studs with your new bearing.
the old ones are a royal PITA to remove from the old hub

Yes they are a PITA to remove. Both times I forgot to pick up new ones also. :doh:
