I have 05, just installed hpop, stc, and injector. Ran great for 4 days. then started smoking. I have taken it to 2 different shop to have looked at. They both say they can't find the problem cause the truck runs great. Egr is blocked, not loosing coolant. The smoke is blue but don't seem to be using any oil , if it is it is minimal. I took off the exhaust side of the turbo off and I stuck a mirror in and it looks like it is wet around the impeller. The truck sat for a couple days before I looked at it so that might be the reason the housing was not real wet. I would have thought it would be wetter than it was. My guess is it is the turbo seal. I need some good opinions cause my funds are real low and need my truck to travel out of state to funeral. Can't afford to misdiagnose this problem. Sorry for the long post and thanks for the help.

I was trying to help a guy out on yahoo answers with the same problem...I dont think he ever figured it out. If you was pulling oil from the turbo....I would imagine you would see a NOTICEABLE increase in oil consumption. I know I did....1-2 qts in a day.

Anybody think it could be from the ccv...if it has one? I've heard that if an air filter gets clogged, it will create a vaccum and it will start sucking up oil from the ccv.

Don't forget to fill out you signature in the user control pannel. That way everyone wont be guessing on what you have, or have not, done to your truck. Helps us to help you...

Hey rammer, thanks for the reply. I got a chance to look at the back of the turbo today and I don't think it was wet as I previously thought. I did notice that the guys who did the work did not tighten my turbo bolts. They were barely in there. I also found that they did not route my ccv back the way I had it. It had a severe kink in it. I tightened the bolts, rerouted the ccv, cleaned off the maf sensor. not sure which one fixed it but there is no more smoke. I think you were on to something with the ccv. Thanks for the info
