Guzzler of the Coors
While talking to the dealer today he said a notice went out to move the interval for the replacement of the engine and frame mounted fuel filter from 15000 to 10000. Reason is for the low quality fuel on the market recently.
(for the owners at altitude ie... mile.) He also said that there was a misprint in your manual 15W-40 was not to be used instead use 10W-30. Reason for this oil is too thick especially at cold temps causing surging and poor economy and during hot temps and the thin air still too thick causing surging. Too thick for the thin air/cold air. Anyone else heard this??
*The manual suggests the 15W-40 is good down to 10 degrees and suggests the 10W-30 is good down to 10 , -10 but only as high as 90*
