the truck has been throwing 'low voltage' on #1, #7 injectors.
It's been getting harder to start in the mornings with the temps being lower (cold here at mid 30's)
I knew the batteries were going out being that they are original '05.
This morning it would not start at all, just blew black smoke out the tail.
I associated all the above with the dieing batteries, so when the truck would not start today, i replaced the batteries....

now it still wont start.... :(

the dealer seems to think the HPOP went out?

i just replace the fuel filter 5k ago and cleaned the egr, the truck has 33k on it.

any ideas?

good thing is that it died in the driveway

FICM....cause of the low voltage to injectors

HPOP connector....could be cause of the no start

how did you check for codes?(Cyl 1&7 low voltage)

good to go again!

got the truck back from the dealer

the FICM was dead, ATK called it.

even better was the news that the roadside service (tow), and repair was all covered under warranty :D

I would hate to see that bill out of warranty :(

weird seeing the SS350 on the back of a flatbed, especially since I'm the one helping others out of the ditches....
