'06 f-250 4x4 34000 m. Truck died going down highway. 1 week earlier changed superchips tuner from tow-safe to performance. No trailer pulling.Really had my foot into it off stop sign to main hiway.Probably 100 mph in no time. Let of throttle to coast, truck just shut down!!! This happened on Friday 13th. Truck turns over but does not start. Hooked tuner up would not read, said low voltage.Towed it home, unhooked batt. cables overnight, cleaned terminals and posts, checked all fuses, charged both batteries, and set it back to stock setting. One batt. checks just okay other is a bit lower. Noticed when cold start doesn't crank maybe as good as used to. 3 yr. 36 warranty expires 4/03/09. Will call dealer Monday morning for tow to dealership. Scared of what it could be!!!! Only had to the floor for maybe 1/4 mile or so,busy hiway and deputies on patrol.

If one battery is bad, the other is just around the corner. REPLACE THEM BOTH. Always replace these batteries as a pair. What you have is one battery, in two places. If this engine isn't getting the rpms (450, I think) it will NOT start. Batteries.
