Dead 2000 F350

My truck died on me while I was driving. Acted like it was starvin for fuel with white smoke when gas was given. Had all glow plugs, wire harnesses, and relays replaced last year and wouldn't start when cold. Have had to plug in all year around.

Had it towed to ford and they say one bank of injectors are bad. Fuel pressure was 70 lbs and 700 lbs.

I am looking for performance injectors that are reasonably priced. Since I dont have a deep pocket. Plus time is not an issue since I plan on parking for the winter.

Any other help would also be very appriciated. I plan on doing the work on my own since the shop wanted 2500 for one side of injectors.

wish i was more up to date on the 7.3 terminology i still own mine but my bro drives it. so what is the uvc?" almost sounds like a cps a little but like i said i dont have near the iknowledge i should on a 7.3...all i know is that i want to get my truck back so i can play with it

I'd be thinking more along that line, too.
hard to believe 4 injectors crapped at the same time..

Have you checked your fuel filters for clogging? It is simple to check the valley filter. The intank filter is a little more work to get to.

Just a thought.

They probably "fixed" it as to screw up within a couple of weeks when the heat and cool cycles go on and off a couple of dozen time......

the other thing that can shut a bank of injectors down is something up with oil flow to that side head...
but that's even more unlikely
