We are supposed to be in the area in October to do some site-seeing. Kinda makes me reconsider. Never thought about being armed to see some of the sites, but....:guns:

ya can't go armed to DC because of gun control laws. You simply don't carry much of value with you so when they mug you they don't get anything worth their time. Sadly this is the easiest option unless you are like chuck norris and can dodge a bullet and beat the crap out of the guy with the gun.

There was a town somewhere that had a crime problem, so they passed an ordinance that said that ALL households were required to have a gun. I guess crime dropped to almost zero in that town.

That town would be Kennesaw, Georgia right next to me. It is a law in the books that every citizen is required to own a hand-gun :sweet :guns: You never hear of a home break-in there on the news! I'm sure not everyone owns a gun and it is not a law that they enforce, but to the thief, how does he know which one does, and which one doesn't :thumbs which is the beauty of the whole thing. I don't know why this is such rocket science to the liberal 'guns are bad' whinners. Just seems like good 'ol American common sense! :usa
