SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS WEEKEND ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 UNDEFEATED TEAMS WILL COLLIDE IN DALLAS TEXAS!!!!
DON'T MISS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This morning on WBAP radio, the morning DJ, Hal Jay, came on the air at 5:00 AM and was telling everyone in the studio that the Cowboys lost. Evidently when he woke up this morning, he asked his wife what happened, and she told him they lost (she also went to sleep before the game ended). He was shocked to hear that they won, so he called his wife and put her on the air and asked her to tell everyone what she told him. For those who don't know Hal Jay, he's one of the funniest guys on radio. To be honest, I was about ready to turn off the game and "concede defeat", but kept watching. I believe the noisy crowd will help them win Sunday and go 6-0!!!!
That is called a "BIT" in radio jargon
He knew who won
He probably did. If you've listened to Hal, he's really a hoot. I've heard that David Letterman once offered him a job to write jokes but he turned it down to stay in this area.
"Dear Reporters,
"Due to the magnitude of this week's game and high volume of questions for the Original 81 about the other 81. I will be taking all questions immediately following Sunday's game.
"Sincerely, (followed by Owens' signature)
"p.s. Getcha Popcorn Ready."

Even tho some don't like TO, I LOVE that. NO Smack talk NO nothing.
Just wait till after the game, good or bad.
CLASSIC!!
No I believe it's the truth. I was in a continuing education class (for insurance licensing) awhile back and sat next to a guy from Arlington who knows Hal Jay and told me that story. Now if I'd heard him say it on the air, I might have "taken it with a grain of salt".Yea, and that is called a "TALL TALE"
