When under a load such as uphill or towing the engine will cut out for a second then run for a second or so, then do it again and again. Been in the shop twice for this problem but they can never figure it out because they can not test it under load.

Please help.

Thanks:thanks
Jake

not sure if this is right or not, mine would do that at times, and there was wiring harness TSB that came out. it fixed that problem.

but like i said, dont really know if that is the problem or not.

I had a similar problem with my 06. It turned out to be the computer.

How did you figure out it was the computer? Its been in the shop twice and they say the diagnostic test is not showing any problems. Hard to justify replacing the computer on the truck just to see if that is the problem.
Thanks

whats the fuel pressure like ? is it constant ?
certainly under "heavy" load <up a hill/towing>
you could have a fueling issue.

have they checked the obvious ? fuel pressure, injector
op., fuel filters ?
