Had the SAME problem--lived with it for a long time cause after it warmed up to running temp it would run(not in N) ok while IN gear. Just 
gave up even after replacing injectors with Babies to get new "O" rings and several other components like under VC harness,same problem. Last year I did the DIY IDM mod(raises the voltage) and NO MORE problems in neutral or cold engine operation
Do a search for the Do it yourself IDM mod or buy one from Joe if you like.
May or may NOT work for you but I was pleasantly surprised when in N, I could rev to the 3200 with out any misfire.
All I am saying is that my IDM was apparently bad???????????I DON`T KNOW IF THIS WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM--but it worked for me---Just my .02---Good luck
