BTW, I used some sticky back foam tape on the back of the speakers before I mounted them. Thought it might reduce any metal to metal buzzing or vibration when I have AC/DC cranked and the Wildman chip set to the OMG setting. :D:D:D

when i replaced mine, i did the same thing, but the buzzz kept coming back
took me a few weeks to find the culprit.
the big ol spring on the window raising arm was in tune to my songs and felt like joining in

i used CF as well,
i wish all instructions came written that well.

08 f250 SD Speaker replacement

I am looking to replace the factory speakers in my 08 f250 SD Crew cab. I have been looking at the Crutchfield site. They have a set of component speakers from infinity. One of my questions has to do with the tweeter mounting location. Has anyone installed a set of components speakers ? I am not sure where to mount the tweeters. Any suggestions? Any suggestions on where to look up to see if there are any factory mount locations?
