cruise control

I have a '00 superduty and my cruise control is intermintent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. any ideas on what the problem might be?

Pat can you give us some more detail...whats intermitent about it...
turning on ? holding speed ? disengagement w/ the brake ?

sometimes the cruise will NOT turn on at all. other times it WILL turn on and then it works perfect.

I Had the same problem. If I kept pushing the buttons, for several miles, on-off-on-off, it would work at some point. I bought the switches from eBay for the steering wheel, installed and all has been well for me now.

actually, if you have access to a scanner that is GEM compatible, it takes all the guesswork out of the equation..
