How much room are you lacking for your amp mount? I fab'ed up a lift that was about an 1" or so, didnt like the way it situated the seat at all. My amp was only lacking about a half an inch of clearing the cable under the seat. Took the seat back out and massaged the floor pan a hair with a caveman like fury. :D If you crawl under the truck youll see that the floor pan of the CC is concaved about an inch or so right under the rear seat and there is alot of room for flex. My seat is now back on the floor and my amp fits fine.

I bought that one for my 96 extended cab...it didnt give me
the space under the seat i was hopeful for...and honestly i wouldnt
do that again...kids kept bumpin' their heads on the rear glass

i removed the tray "system" under the seat of my 04 (see pic links)
and id STILL like to raise the seat...the amps get a little hot & could
use some more air flow.

:roflmao

I thought about putting one on my truck, but honestly, no one ever sits back there.

Plus I have it loaded with junk, If I ever put an amp and box back there, I will probably just remove the back seat, or I have even thought about cutting it in HALF! :sweet

Click on "My Pics" link in my sig, I think theres a picture of my rear seat with my box behind it. It really didnt take much to massage the floorpan. One or two gentle whacks with relatively small sledge. I didnt get all Hong Kong Phooey with it.

i'm looking for about 2 1/2" of additional space. this will give me more room for the sub box behind the seat as well. wish i could fit all 4 12" subs in it. right now i have 2 boxes with 2 12" subs each bouncing around on my seat. its a pain to remove them for passengers so the have to go. i figure i can make a custom fiberglas box and squeeze 2 12"s behind the seat and guess i'll ebay the rest.

I've only got 2 12's behind the seat, I also run my seat one click from full back to prevent the frame from contacting the surround when the sub excurts. I dont think youre gonna get 4-12's behind the seat no way no how will you? What about 2 15's?

edit.... opps, I see you are only going to run two subs in the future. I built my own box out of MDF, fits nicely behind the seat, save for that last click on the rails.
