I have 2 new ford batteries. Parked the truck and in the morning, no battery. I thought it would be the 3rd GPR going bad again so I installed the new Stancor and I have not been able to charge my batteries yet but I had some power left for interior lights, and I noticed a strange clicking sound. It is coming from in front of my right knee under the dash. So when I laid down I saw a box with 3 plugs plugged into it. I was wondering if there is another way to trouble shoot or , what is this box for or do I have to wait to get my batteries charged. either way.

Please help I am parked on the street and I do not want to go crazy like last time and get new batteries.... I also have a bad flywheel tht likes to free spin every 7 start-up.... So I did change the Starter last week and thats how I saw the chip marks on the flywheel.

you have new batteries and no juice to the truck, if i am understanding you correctly?

if thats true, i would be looking for corroded connections or bad ground somewhere.

clicking down by your knee is going to be trailer towing relays..

look up under by the spare tire for a 10 pin (5x2) connector about the size of a zippo lighter

pull it apart and see if it's full of green groties

On top of the drive side batt. there a second red wire that comes from the main fuse box to the batt. I think. Check the wire and see if it came loose. Mine did the clicky thing when I changed the batts. just snugged it up and see if that works.

Yup, check the mains to the engine side fuse box, your trucks old enough that you should be thinking it's time to change out both your + and - cables as they have a habit of rotting from the inside out.

Slick!

Have keyless entry? Sounds like the 3 plug box you speak of is keyless entry module. As for your clicky clicky I second bad ground or bad connection, I can' t say exactly were though.
