Wow

I am amazed at how much air/oil vapor comes out of my new crankcase ventilation fix hose. Is it my imagination, or does the engine seem a little spunkier?

i have been wanting to do this mod, just havent done it yet. i work on class 8 trucks all day long, and they are all vented out to atmosphere (not counting new engines for emissions). they puff quite a bit, especially in cold weather. i think it looks cool :)

i have been trying to figure out the installation of a Mann ProVent CCV filter. its designed EXACTLY for this application.

the only thing stopping me is getting confirmation of the application of that filter to the DT444e motor. As soon as you say 'pickup truck' to the application engineers, they cringe and try to get off the phone.

its a nice small package and will fit under the hood.

VW guys have been using them with good results on 4 bangers.

i know that some school busses have been retrofitted with the Donaldson Spriacle filters. thing is they are HUGE.
