i decided to get out there and do my CPS after if finished the trans filter and flush (in the rain-mad ) on my girlfriends 00 grand am. i dont know when the last time it was done:propeller (before i bought it)and i wasnt sure if it needed it never had any of the symptoms or problems that are noted on wiki. but none the less i was sure it had at least 30k + on it. the 10 minutes it took to change it out was well worth it:sweet . the o-ring on the CPS was almost non-exisant:eek: . with the new CPS i almost didnt reconize the truck:wow , the throttle response was 100%:burnit better it even felt like there was more boost but since i dont keep a real good eye on it i cant be sure.

also anyone know how often your supose to change the CPS out?

You normally don't change it unless it goes out. I would hang on to the old one in the glove box.
