i hate to bring this up again, but i may have issues.
what do you guys think? the pix in my sig is from early last week. the other 2 are from today. very lite snow on driveway, the yellow/gold color of the coolant really stands out (pix does not do it justice)

:doh:i really don't need this now. just when i thought everything was going well... what to do

edit: see blackstone report

Looking at all your previous problems/replacements, it appears you've been their, done that before. We can only hope that it is just another egr cooler or simpler and not H.G.'s. First step as you know is the coolant pressure test to diagnose where it's leaking. I'll cross my fingers for you! Good luck. What did the Blackstone report say,any coolant in oil?

no roy. and it smells 'normal' in the degas tank...:dunno

I'd watch the coolant bottle and see if it ever starts to go down. Otherwise relax. :)

I know how it goes. I suffer from 6.0 paranoia at times as well ;)

I hear you about the 6.0 paranoia! I've lived through the H.G. leak drama. Mine was so slight and only occured under heavy load and the coolant loss was at first barely detectable. Dealers kept telling me there was no problem. If it does become an issue for you Red, this link has an easy way to detect combustion gases in coolant Detail Page for 75500 Combustion Leak Detector - Lisle Corporation I hope you don't need it.

thanks ford oor----

i am aware of this testing tool, just in a different style...and more $$..hahah

that one a shop wants $64 to do the test for me...did not want to pay for it but it may just be cheap 'sleep' insurance. your tester however would be a good buy...
thanks
