The owners manual states that the original coolant fill is good for 100,000 miles, then to service the cooling system every 50,000 miles. I just did the 100,000 flush and refill a little over 2 years ago, and now I'm getting close to the 150,000 mile mark. Every 50,000 seems a little excessive to me. I understand cavitation and SCA's, and my coolant tests fine and looks like new yet. On the large off-road diesels I work on, we go about 5 years on a coolant service. Just wanted to get some other opinions on how long you go on a coolant service. Thanks for the input.

I just did my 6.0 at 55,000 and if I were you I would stay at 50 to 60,000 miles on my truck. You have the coolant filter on it so you are doing all you can do. Just keep it up.

NPG+ coolant

I have been using the NPG+ for three years. I like it. It runs at 210 F with ZERO pressure. Smells odd, changes colors after a while to a dark brown, but works great.:thumbs
