My truck has been sitting for 2-3 weeks- no need for heavy iron. Drove it over the weekend and thought I detected a faint smell of anti-freeze in the cab when the heater was on. I checked the coolant level and it seemed fine.

Drove the truck yesterday, no smell. I figured it was my imagination...

This morning, a dinner sized plate of coolant on the driveway. GRRRR.

Looking up for the source, it looks like its coming from the hose on the bottom of the degass bottle, the one under the cap location.

The cap was on good, no signs of leakage at the cap.

Do the degass bottles go bad?

Crumm, SHUT THE DOOR ALREADY! I gotta fix this outside.

Dennis, if that's what you were calling to ask me, the answer is yes.

Dealer probably has one in stock, and for the price, it's not worth getting out of a boneyard.
